Over the course of 3 days, the three of us were very committed to this project. We organized the plans to start Painting on Friday and Sunday. At First, Ramon and I started sanding down the 1st bench; first with 36 grit sandpaper, then followed up with a much finer grit sandpaper.
After, we primed the bench with Kilz Premium Primer. During the following Sunday, Jacob and I performed the same process. After the benches dried within 30 minutes, we started painting designs. We used latex paint, usually used in class projects, to paint the school colors. In order to demonstrate school spirit, we spelled out the words "WGHS GOLD" on all 3 benches with the school colors, red and yellow. These were also accompanied with many small designs such as flowers, the sun, or just many examples of nature in general.
At last, we signed our names, our class, and 2014, the year they were made.
